The Garden Studio

The Garden Studio is a quiet and rustic country cottage with a cosy feel, perfect for a relaxing time away or as a base for exploring the beautiful Southern Highlands. The converted dance studio is a one room cottage containing a queen size bed, kitchenette, dining area/workspace and an ensuite. The Garden Studio has a North-East facing and South-West facing window so you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset and perhaps even see our ducks having a swim in the bath! The space The Garden Studio offers simple pleasures like tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely and comfy queen size bed. It is not a luxury apartment however, it is homey, cosy, clean and tidy - all you need for a perfect get-away from the city. To help you relax, we have Wi-Fi and a small TV with Netfix. We also have a small deck so you can enjoy the garden and the morning sun. The bathroom including shower and toilet is small but nicely decorated with a Spanish feel to it. Guest access At the Garden Studio, guests will be able to access the ping pong table (at recommended times) and the deck area. There is no large outdoor area, however, there is space enough for two to enjoy the simple rustic, cosy environment. Other things to note The Garden Studio is a moment's walk away from the main residential dwelling. There is a privacy screening between the studio and the main house, and a seperate entrance, so although the family may be around, guests will not be disturbed. Our resident cat: Cato is a friendly cat and will more often than not poke his head over the fence to greet the arriving guests and then run off. If you are allergic to cats (or can't stand the site of them), please let us know and we will keep him inside during your stay. Children: Although The Garden Studio only accepts two guests, we are open to accommodate a baby or small child. Please let us know when booking, so we can prepare the space appropriately. Cold snap: Moss Vale can get cold! The room has a heater for guests to use and there are plenty of extra blankets and and an extra queen size doona however, we recommend you bring warm clothes when you visit Moss Vale (at any time of year!).
