It has been fully restored with this loft style apartment *upstairs* & is currently being renovated to have the @solshinecafe downstairs. It is located in the heart of Monroe right on Main & Center St. This place is perfect for a beautiful get away in an elevated setting. A great location within walking distance to anything in town. The space This is a loft style apartment on the 2nd floor of a 2 story building. You walk up a flight of stairs that enters the space into a 2000 square foot floor plan. There is currently 2 bedrooms and 1 functioning bathroom inside of the master bedroom. There is an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining, & living room. It has great views that look directly over Main St. We have been renovating this building for 5 years! It has a lot of historic charm. The apartment loft is all built from scratch! We source all of our materials second hand to limit using new resources. It adds a special magic that feels really special to be inside of. The old gym floor is a prime example of that special charm. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apt excluding the utility room. Other things to note This place is not currently handicap friendly and you must be able bodied to access. It’s also not the safest for small children with the tall flight of stairs. We are are almost 100% done renovating this space and have spent the past 5 years working on this building! A huge backstory there but—- it’s not perfect! Because we still have a little bit of work to finish some things are awkward like the only working bathroom is inside the master suite. This is temporary and we will be working on getting the 2nd guest bathroom soon. Because of it’s not fully equipped nature in that way, the price is lower than it will be when complete.
