HISTORY: The castle was first mentioned in 1186 and looks back on an eventful history. It was built by “those of Plancinstain,” a powerful noble family. However, it owes its name to the material from which it was built: white limestone, blanc, as they said at the time. From 1800, however, the castle fell more and more and was only renovated in its foundation walls in the 1970s. Since 2010, the castle has enjoyed a new splendor: With a lot of love for detail, it was brought back to life! Historical castle components and original materials meet stylish contemporary comfort and create a unique feel-good atmosphere. Guest access Each guest has a room with a private bathroom. There are currently 5 rooms listed on Airbnb with different amenities and prices. The perfect room is sure to be there for you. The rest of the castle area is shared: the castle tavern where breakfast is served and there is the possibility for lunch and dinner, the arcade courtyard, the castle shop, a climbing park and the entire outdoor area with forest, the viewing platform and lots of pure nature.
