The Croft Chalet Pods Skye - pod 5 (Ascrib)

Arscrib is one of 6 luxury pods overlooking Uig Bay in North West Skye. The pod sleeps 4 and has a fully kitted mini kitchen, bathroom (with shower); king size bed, bunk beds, a sofa and free WiFi. There is a large decking area and picnic bench to the front. We are situated 15 miles north from the Islands capital Portree, and are an ideal base for your trip to Skye. The space The pods were built in 2022 and are fully equipped for your trip to Skye. We are situated in Uig and overlook the bay. The pods are 50% larger than a standard pod and come with - King size bed Bunk beds (top bunk suitable for over 7’s only) All bed linen and towels Underfloor heating Smart TV Micro kitchen (fridge, dishwasher and 2 ring hob) with additional storage cupboard Microwave Kettle and toaster Kitchen utensils, frying pan, pan, crockery, cutlery & glasses Hot water Tea/coffee/sugar Bathroom with electric shower, toilet and sink Table and chairs Free Wi-Fi Portable oil heater Hairdryer Storage space Clothes airer Hangers and pegs Usb charging sockets Fully electric Free parking on site (one car per pod) Outside there is a large decking area and to the front individual picnic benches and fire pits. There is a washing machine available in the site utility shed (for shared use available from noon each day) *before booking please note - ***MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 4, THIS INCLUDES CHILDREN, unfortunately the pods are not childproofed and we are therefore unable to accept under 2’s As the pods form part of a working Croft the access is limited. The path down from the car park, although short, is steep and unfortunately currently not suitable for wheelchair use or for people with restricted mobility. We undertake maintenance/grass cutting during the day and please be aware there are generally cows and sheep in the adjacent fields. There are no e.bike or EV charging facilities on site. The nearest EV charger is 0.4 miles away but charging stations on the Island are currently limited For guests peace of mind we have a security camera and we regret that for insurance purposes only booked guests are allowed on site. Guest access Guests have individual pods with a picnic area to the side/front. There is a grassy area that can be used by all guests Other things to note The maximum occupancy is 4 people, this includes children. Unfortunately we cannot accept infants in the accommodation. We provide free wifi for your stay, this is for personal use not business as we are a rural location and cannot guarantee internet speed As we are a working Croft with no secure fencing and livestock in neighbouring fields then unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs. There are no EV charging facilities on-site, the nearest charger is 0.4mile away. There are currently limited charging points on the island * Our price doesn’t include a cleaning fee and we do not expect guests to have to clean the pod on departure. All we ask is that the checkout details are followed and the pods are left in a reasonable condition. Any that aren’t will regrettably be charged, thank you … Being situated on the exposed west coast we can very occasionally experience power cuts in the most extreme weather. Unfortunately this is totally outwith our control. We have limited back up power available on-site that enables guests to cook in a shared area, provides hot water and provision to charge devices. We also supply standard boxes with lights, flasks, hot water bottles, blankets and most importantly essential snacks 😊 Registration details HI 30485-F
