Welcome to the Lucky Bear Cabin! Our cabin is a cozy, rustic escape nestled in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains. Located in a quiet tree lined neighborhood, our newly renovated cabin has all the modern comforts you need while offering a perfect getaway from the city. After a long day on the slopes, unwind and enjoy a glass of wine by the wood burning fireplace. The fully fenced yard is surrounded by trees making it a peaceful setting to kick your feet up by the fire pit under the stars. The space Our 2-story cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The large flat driveway has room for up to 3 cars. There are 5 steps to the front door. Each bedroom has new Casper mattresses throughout and exposed wood beam ceilings. Bedrooms: -Bedroom 1 (1st floor): Queen bed with balcony access -Bedroom 2 (2nd floor): Queen bed and private work desk -Bedroom 3 (2nd floor): Queen bed & Twin bed The bathrooms have a spa like feel with luxury tile, marble vanities and cedar tongue and groove ceilings. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless-steel appliances and stocked with the essential utensils, pots and pans, and bakeware. Appliances include: gas stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, drip coffee machine, French press, and toaster. The deck has a large wood table with plenty of seating to enjoy meals outside. The string lights turn on/off automatically for ambient lighting. Just steps from the deck, we have Adirondack chairs surrounding the propane fire pit which is the perfect place to make s’mores. The dog run has newly set turf installed for endless play. -Central heat controlled by Nest -Ceiling fans located in the living room and each bedroom -High speed internet and private work desk -Smart TV for streaming Netflix, Hulu, YouTube -Keyless entry -Exterior cameras for security -Bathroom linens, toiletries, and hair dryer -Board games/activities -Dog bowls and MudBuster for dirty paws Our cabin is conveniently located near all of what Big Bear has to offer. <10 mins away: -Bear Mountain Ski Resort, The Village, Big Bear Snow Play, The Alpine Zoo, The Convention Center, and many hiking trails. Other things to note Check the weather and road conditions prior to arriving to the mountains. Note that the weather can change suddenly, and it is best to always be prepared for inclement weather. We cannot honor last-minute cancellations due to weather and road conditions.
