Enjoy a peaceful vacation tucked away in a valley below a swath of Lancaster County farmland. Located in Adamstown, PA, "Antiques Capital USA", this studio-style loft is less than 5 minutes from 272, 222, and the PA Turnpike, and less than half an hour from the many tourist attractions and local hotspots in Lancaster and Reading. If you enjoy bicycle riding, you'll be able to travel on your own steam to a dozen local antique shops, or take it easy and lounge by the pool with the family. The space Situated on 2.7 acres of beautiful lawn bordered by mature trees with farmland beyond, this property provides plenty of space for children to explore the playground area and pool, or play yard games in the grass. You'll have the entire backyard to yourself, with shared access to the pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day), patio, playground, front yard, and riding toys on the large driveway far from the road. Our cat Gracie may greet you during your stay, but the loft itself is a pet-free space. Games, puzzles, books, and toys are provided for indoor play, along with a 50" smart TV and an extensive DVD library for downtime in the evenings. The memory foam queen bed and daybed will provide a dreamless night's sleep, with a pack 'n' play provided for your infant. A walk-in closet provides plenty of space for all of your belongings, and the fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, coffeemaker, griddle, full-size refrigerator and stove, and spacious pantry will supply all of your cooking needs. There is no dishwasher, and the laundry in the main house is available upon request. Other infant supplies are included as well so you can travel light, such as a small bathtub, high chair seat, and changing mat. Upon arrival you'll find a 4-page list of our favorite local hotspots and tourist attractions, most of which are within a mere half-hour. Boehringer's Drive-In is just a walk down the road, with a picnic area by the creek; don't forget bread to feed the ducks! Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Sight & Sound Theatres, Middle Creek Wildlife Preserve, The Amish Farm and House, and Maple Grove Raceway are all within half an hour's drive, while Hersheypark, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia are within an hour. Guest access All of the property is available for your use, but please supervise children outdoors. The pool has a child-safe gate and the yard is far from the road, but the shop area is off-limits. We will not join you if you are already in the pool, and you're welcome to ask for private time if we are already in (or message me to schedule it ahead of time). Other things to note Josh works/plays in the shop below Loft 311 some evenings and weekends, but never between 9 pm and 8 am.
