"La Escondida" House, Tlacotalpan

Beautiful home two blocks from Tlacotalpan's central park, roughly three from the riverfront. Totally renovated, the space is private, comfortable, and functional. New architectural elements respect the spirit of the town and the homes for which it's famous. The pool is ITALIAN STYLE and water is green in appearance. Perfectly distributed ample spaces make your stay an enjoyable experience. At 9 x 2 meters, the pool integrates with the rest of spaces all shaded by a beautiful jobo tree. The space The house has high tile roofs and one large room combining kitchen, dining, and living rooms in harmony with the architectural tradition of the Papaloapan basin. Two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, and the other with a double bed, both include closet and storage space. Mattresses are comfortable memory foam. A double sofa bed in the living room allows you to bring two more guests. The home also includes two bathrooms, one off the secondary bedroom and another off the primary bedroom and terrace. An outdoor shower next to the pool gives added comfort. Both showers share a solar water heater so no gas is used in the home. The pool is Italian style, and green in appearance to emulate the color of the Papaloapan River. Sanitary conditions are perfect and the pool receives constant maintenance. The garden has two patio spaces, one adjoining the kitchen/dining area and the other adjoining the second bedroom in the shade of the jobo tree. Even with Tlacotalpan's considerable heat, the home remains shaded and cool. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and are asked to respect the near neighbors, and avoid noise after 10 PM. Other things to note "La Escondida" was designed as a space for rest, secluded from the street, but just steps away from the center of Tlacotalpan's social, cultural and culinary life. The exterior of the house is simple and austere, while interiors offer modern interconnected functional spaces for relaxation and socializing, always in the shade of the beautiful tree that forms part of the property.
