Verbena Norte is away from the town centre, atop the overlooking hills, and on the way to the Volcano. The area is very local. There are mini-supermarkets, small sodas for meals, and a few nice restaurants (delivery express possible). There is a bus stop 2 minutes away, waterfalls, quaint walking and hiking trails are nearby Honestly, for the best Costa Rica adventure, a vehicle is recommended.
