Keep it simple at this peaceful, lakefront cabin on McDonald Lake in the pristine Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Located near Manistique and Gulliver, it is centrally located for many of the Upper Peninsula's tourist attractions and is a perfect base for planning your adventures, or if you wish, staying to enjoy the fishing, the diverse bird population or the quiet of the northern woods. There is docking available for your fishing boat or your own canoe or kayak. A public boat launch is nearby. The space Located on 1 and 1/4 acres of mixed woods and sandy ground, the lakefront property overlooks this quiet, shallow lake that has a sandy bottom for wading and swimming. The cabin is located more than 300 feet from the entrance road. The property is shared with the owner, Brenda, whose house is over 50 feet to the east. Guest access Guests are always welcomed to walk around the entire property, use the fire pit or the screen house that is located between the two cabins. This screen house has a table with chairs, lights, a small refrigerator, a ceiling fan and a Keurig coffee maker. From Memorial Day until Labor Day , one side of a dock is available for guests to park their own boat. The public boat launch is nearby. Other things to note The host has a variety of puzzles, board games and cards available for guests to use.
