Bedouin Culture Camp
Bedouin Culture Camp
Description
Hello, my name is Sultan. I come from a large bedouin family and I have always lived here in Wadi Rum desert. It's my pleasure to help sharing the bedouin lifestyle with people who visit. I've built a few traditional bedouin goat hair tents out in the desert where guests can stay. During the evening, you can enjoy spending time with us around the fire, singing and dancing. We can also provide the Zaab, a traditional diner cooked underground in an earth oven. The space The tents are traditional Bedouin style, made from goat hair. Our desert tents also have access to hot water and a shower! In the morning, you can enjoy the sunrise from tent window and in the evening you can see the sunset from a rocky outcrop. We have a common area where guests can relax or smoke shisha. Sometimes, we play Bedouin music or have dancing. Outside, we have a fire pit where you can enjoy the stars. Guest access There are 9 Bedouin tents with clean and very comfortable beds with cushions and pillows. Each tent is connected to electricity, which we produce using solar panels. There is also a large common tent, in which all guests meet. Dinner and breakfast are served there. Other things to note Please note that our camps are located in the middle of the desert. The places are certainly calm and magical, but there can also be a lot of wind and sand. In the evening, it can be very cold. Therefore, we recommend that you bring warm clothes. Please also note that the entrance to Wadi Rum National Park is 5 JOD. It is free for all Jordan Pass holders! Just show it to the guards at the entrance to the Visitor Center. If you wish, we offer desert tours, which we will adapt to your desires. Explore the desert on a camel, by Jeep, or even on foot. Welcome! Sultan
