The space SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS Master bedroom: King bed Casita (separate building): Queen bed 1 Large living room with 2 Queen air mattresses, 2 twin air mattresses Please let us know how many/which type of bed you'll be needing before your stay. Guest access You'll have full, private access to the grounds and pool. Other things to note SEPARATE BUILDINGS The two private bedrooms are in *separate buildings* about 50 paces from each other. OCEAN WATER QUALITY There is a history of poor water quality at the main beach in Sayulita, though recent data suggests it is generally safe. Other nearby beaches include Playa De Los Muertos, Bucerias beaches, Mal Paso, Higuera Blanca, and Litibu. THEFT & ROBBERY While Sayulita is generally safe, common-sense precautions should be taken such as not leaving cash, backpacks, pocketbooks, or electronics visible or unattended. We recommend leaving flashy jewelry or watches safe in your own home. We have taken every measure to secure the property and house of Casa Shira (locks, padlocks, window gratings and a digital safe) and encourage you to use these measures to protect yourself and your property. Casa Shira is not responsible for lost or stolen property. SCORPIONS & RATTLESNAKES Scorpions and rattlesnakes are common in the jungle of Sayulita. We fumigate bi-annually as recommended to prevent scorpions from entering the house, however this does occasionally occur. We encourage you to implement our recommended precautions, which you can read about in the House Manual. CLEANING FEE The cleaning fee is to cover basic cleaning such as disinfecting toilets, showers, and kitchen, sweeping and laundry at the end of your stay. Anything beyond this will be charged additionally. Dishwashing, picking up trash not placed in bins, or excessive mess are not an included service. Additional cleaning service during your stay may be requested at an additional cost. SECURITY CAMERAS Security cameras are in effect throughout the exterior of the house for your safety and security. If you prefer to have them turned off, please let us know. TOWN WATER SUPPLY There is currently a scarcity of water across Sayulita and the town is in the process of fixing the issue. We occasionally run out of water because it is difficult to get water up the hill where the house is, so we encourage using water sparingly. If this occurs, we will order a truck delivery of water to replenish the supply. We apologize, but we are not able to discount the price of your stay for this inconvenience, since it is out of our hands and already incurs additional cost. NOISE Sayulita is a very noisy place, as there is ongoing construction in all areas of town. The North side of town is decidedly quieter as it is away from the busy party center, however there is still regular construction noise. The house is above an elementary school, so you will also hear that during the day.
