Naya is an ecological hotel and retreat space located in the jungle of Nosara, a 5-minute walk to the beach. Naya is an off the beaten track, nature lover's paradise, complete with comfortable, modern amenities.  We have 6 stand-alone units, each with en-suite bathroom, AC and private veranda. From December-March, we offer a breakfast buffet on our bar from 7:30-9 am, $15 per person. Guests may access the shared kitchen from 10 am-9 pm, & enjoy our pool, outdoor dining area and yoga shala. The space We are dedicated to providing our guests with an authentic encounter with the natural beauty that defines this region. Nestled in the serene jungle of Playa Pelada, our accommodations are a blend of comfort and simplicity, offering a tranquil escape just a short journey from the lively hub of Nosara, Playa Guiones. Immerse yourself in the true essence of this precious environment while enjoying a vibrant wellness program featuring classes, workshops, and retreats starting December 1st, 2023. The center of our space is the jungle fringed infinity pool, lounge area, shared kitchen and our yoga shala. We are a short walk via jungle path to the beach--as close as you can legally be in this protected area. We are also a short walk away from the mouth of Rio Nosara and the mangrove forests of the Lagarta Lodge Nature Reserve. Please note: we are in the peaceful jungle neighborhood of Playa Pelada, not in the center of town. We treasure the sounds of nature and the energy of the jungle--it's why we're here in the first place. We take pride in providing a genuine experience that mirrors our own lives and principles: embracing simplicity, fostering a connection with the natural world, and hosting transformational work of many flavors. Operating as a small eco-conscious retreat, our family has been rooted in this area for over two decades, cultivating deep connections and relationships with the land and the local Costa Rican community. From April-November, the unpaved roads to our space get rougher. We recommend coming in a higher vehicle, 4x4 or 4x2 even better. These rough roads are all over Nosara and the area: you could say it's part of the charm, and the daily reality for those who live here. From April-mid December, we offer complimentary coffee on our bar in the mornings from 7:30-9 am. In this time of year, we offer access to our shared kitchen from 6 am-9 pm. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor dining area, pool and yoga shala, when shala is not in use for classes and workshops.
