We are a short walk via jungle path to the beach--as close as you can legally be in this protected area. We are also a short walk away from the mouth of Rio Nosara and the mangrove forests of the Lagarta Lodge Nature Reserve. Please note: we are in the peaceful jungle neighborhood of Playa Pelada, not in the center of town, Playa Guiones. We treasure the sounds of nature and the energy of the jungle. We take pride in providing a genuine experience that mirrors our own lives and principles: embracing simplicity, fostering a connection with the natural world, and hosting transformational work of many flavors. Operating as a small ecological hotel, our family has been rooted in this area for over two decades, cultivating deep connections with the land and the local community. From April-November, the unpaved beach roads to our space get rougher. We recommend coming in a higher vehicle. These rough roads are all over Nosara and the area: you could say it's part of the charm, and the daily reality for those who live here. Service areas and staff‑only zones are not accessible to guests. We host events and workshops throughout the year in our yoga shala, and occasionally poolside. Other things to note You will share the property with other guests who are here to surf, practice yoga, or simply relax in nature. Please be mindful of this and keep the atmosphere peaceful–we kindly request to not play music in our public areas. We can help arrange catering, airport transfers, local transport, surf lessons, yoga classes, massage, and other activities with advance notice.
