The space Welcome to Honu Retreat, a cozy hilltop cabin at Terrapin Hideaway, our family-owned property in the heart of Hocking Hills. Whether you're planning a romantic escape, a family vacation, or a peaceful weekend surrounded by nature, Honu Retreat offers the perfect place to relax and recharge. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to four (4) guests with one private bedroom featuring a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Large windows fill the space with natural light and showcase peaceful views of the pond and surrounding landscape. Step outside to enjoy your private hot tub, unwind around the fire pit, or relax on the patio while taking in the quiet surroundings. The first bundle of firewood is included with your stay. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a gas grill with pellet smoker for outdoor cooking. The living area includes comfortable seating, a Smart TV with satellite channels, high-speed WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, and a fireplace for cozy evenings. We are pet-friendly, because we know vacations are even better when the whole family can come along. Located in Rockbridge, Ohio, Honu Retreat is just a short drive from Hocking Hills State Park, Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkles Hollow, local wineries, restaurants, and other favorite attractions. Our property uses high-quality filtered well water that is safe and drinkable. If you’re sensitive to water taste or prefer bottled water, we recommend bringing some along.
