This beautiful space w/ queen and twin day beds, avail monthly+, is one block from the heart of Taos but secluded and quiet. The room is behind my 1938 historic home sharing a courtyard and ample parking space. It is 300 sq ft with hardwood floors, adobe walls, and full bath. It is equipped with a kitchenette. There is a shared patio space and grill. The yard is fenced. From this downtown location you can walk to restaurants, museums, theater, galleries, and shopping. The space The studios are located off the back patio with a separate keyed entrance. The 325 square foot room has 2 windows with light-blocking curtains. The room also has a private full bath. The room's antique and mid-century furnishings include a queen bed, twin day bed, armoire, desk, TV (with Netflix), a seating area with coffee table, and expandable drop-leaf rolling table with chairs. The kitchenette includes a 5 cu ft fridge, 2 electric burners, and small sink. The kitchen also includes a microwave, hot-water kettle, and french coffee press. Cooking and serving dishes and utensils are provided. Guest access The guests will have access to the full property except for the owner's home. The entrance to the guest rooms are off the back patio with a keyed separate entrance. Each room also is keyed and private. The guests will also have access to the back patio including a Weber grill with burner, and dining table and benches. Adjacent to the patio is a small yard that is surrounded by trees and has a small table for sipping your coffee or glass of wine outside. The patio area is lit in the evening by string lights creating a nice outdoor space. There is a large parking lot that is part of the property in the front of the house which if needed can be used to park a RV, trailer, or larger vehicle. There is guest parking behind the house and closer to the rooms as well. Other things to note Me, as the owner and my two boys and our medium sized dog live on the property. We are happy to give advice on things to do in Taos and help in any way we can. If you want to rent a mountain bike while you are in town, and one of ours fits you, then we could make that happen. These are not fancy bikes, but good for getting you around.
