Quinta da Penada - Vineyard & Winery - Suite 3

Quinta da Penada is located in the Trás-Os-Montes region of Northern Portugal. The house is situated right within the vineyard, overlooking the quaint village of Loivos which has a population of about 400 people. The space This is a serene location where you can enjoy tranquility among nature or join in some vineyard tasks. Simply relax, read a book, sip a glass of wine by the poolside or fireplace, bike, hike or run… the possibilities are endless. The suite includes 1 bedroom and a full bath with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. It can sleep 2 people comfortably. Towels and bed linen are also provided for your stay. Other things to note Our vineyard is planted with approximately 20,000 vines of Portuguese varieties, notably Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Fernão Pires, among others. The vineyard is planted in "geios", the traditional terraced plantation system and has been certified for Sustainable Farming since 2016. We also have 800 olive trees which we harvest, press and bottle for our own extra virgin olive oil. Our winery is located right on the property where you’ll be staying.

 If you enjoy golf, there are two courses nearby. The Vidago Golf Club which is a 9-hole course and the 18-hole Par 72 course at Vidago Palace, both within a 10 minute drive.
