A bright, single bedroom with workspace providing ethernet and wifi connection to full-fibre broadband. A modern bathroom is shared with the two hosts and there is an additional toilet downstairs. You're very welcome in our 3-bed home with a pretty garden which is in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with woodlands, beautiful walks and country pubs nearby. Wokingham town centre is 2.5 miles away, there is driveway parking available for one vehicle and a bicycle is available for guests. The space The bedroom contains a small hanging rail for your use, a drawer, and a comfortable solid-oak single bed with memory foam topper. The room is incredibly quiet as it overlooks our garden at the end of a small cul-de-sac. The modern bathroom is filled with natural light, contains a power shower and is shared with the hosts. There is an additional toilet downstairs. Please note that the room offers limited hanging/ storage as you may expect for a single room. Some additional belongings may fit under the bed for those staying a little while. Within an easy 10minute walk there is a pharmacy, grocery shops, 3 restaurants, 3 takeaways, a cafe/bar and a garage (fuel and service). Guest access You are welcome to treat our house as your home during your stay. Feel free to use the kitchen, lounge, dining room and garden as you wish. We also have a spare bicycle you would be welcome to borrow if you'd like to get out and about during your visit. Driveway parking is available for one vehicle. For longer stays, we are happy to allocate guests some kitchen cupboard, fridge and freezer space to help you feel at home. During your stay A warm welcome awaits you and we are happy to give advice on local walks, pubs, restaurants and public transport or perhaps play a board game or two! Equally, if you're after some 'me' time, we're happy to leave you to get on with your day. We both work from home much of the time. Guests are more than welcome to work remotely from here from time to time during their visit and we'll even meet you for coffee breaks if you like! It can feel a little crowded if guests need to work from home every day so would ask that you bear working plans in mind when booking. Other things to note Our home is also occupied by our two cats. They are pretty chilled and usually snoozing but will likely warm to you if you wish to encourage a friendship! The cats are kept out of the Air BnB bedroom. The property and garden are non-smoking throughout. Sadly the bus service in our village is pretty infrequent - once you get to Wokingham there are plenty of buses and trains to surrounding areas.
