Cozy cottage with own yard in a unique surroundings. Peaceful and sunny garden with grill and outdoor furniture. Location also includes its own beach, which is a 3-minute walk away. Buss stop is in 100 meters where it is easy to travel to centre of Turku. Cabin is located in historical experimental garden established by botanist Pehr Kalm. Cottage is surrounded by the old main house and storehouse build in the 1700’s. Many plants brought from research trips still grows in the yard. The space Lovely wooden cabin located in centre of historical courtyard. A summer cottage decorated with traditional furniture and the most unique details, a master bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a sleeping alcove with two separate beds. A spacious kitchen with everything you need for cooking, running water and space for dining. (Drinking water is available in separate container.) From the kitchen there is access to the glass veranda, where you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the beautiful sunshine. On the veranda there is a pull out couch where two people can sleep comfortably. There is an outhouse in the entrance of the house that serves as a bathroom. And a separate shower. Guest access During your stay, in addition to the cottage, you are welcome to use the entire garden area with outdoor furniture, including the grill. If you wish, you can take a short walk to the private beach belonging to the plot. There you can admire the beautiful views of the sea and the ships passing by and if you dare take a dip in the sea. Beach is rocky and for that reason not suitable for small children. Other things to note This cottage is well suited for those who love peace and nature, who want to experience or enjoy an authentic Finnish cabin atmosphere. Water from the tap is coming from a well and for this reason we don’t recommend drinking it. Drinking water is provided in a separate canister.
