The space Our neighborhood is very quiet, residential, right off the bike path and 2 blocks from Leddy Park Beach. Taking the path south for 15 mins will bring you right downtown to all of Burlington's finest establishments! At the end of our road is a café serving local vegan food, smoothies, drinks and more. 3 blocks away is a local plaza with a grocery store, coffee/ bagel shop, laundry mat, hair/nail salon, liquor store, and a few restaurants. A 5 minute drive to Downtown, Waterfront Park, marinas, skatepark, and waterfront restaurants/brewery. Our place is close to family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, and the city center. Lots of natural light from many windows and beautiful hardwood floors make it an attractive space to relax in. The spacious and open kitchen comes well stocked with everything you would need to cook a delicious meal + a big dining room table. Full-sized refrigerator, electric range/oven, and plenty of space for food prep. Drip coffee pot, a french press & coffee grinder available for your stay. We also provide a great selection of organic herbal teas. 2nd floor Primary Room The open floor upstairs is one main room that is sectioned off in part by a wall/closet. There is no door to this space but the sleeping area feels private. This room features the King memory foam bed and has a separate reading nook and space for working, as well as a crib. This space is large enough for extra sleeping with an air mattress that can be provided upon request with extra linens. Bedside lamps with usb charging. Sound machine for white noise if needed. Window fans and ac units for hotter months. 1st floor ‘guest’ room Traditional bedroom with typical amenities like a full closet with extra linens, and small desk. Bedside lamp with usb charging. Full sized bed with new memory foam mattress. Bathroom Full bath with a deep tub and shower. Fresh towels and eco-friendly soaps provided. We wash all linens in natural 100% plant based laundry detergent. General amenities: Bluetooth speaker in dining room Smart tv & soundbar Great wifi strength throughout house Natural gas furnace, vents to all rooms and heats up the space quickly Window fans/ window ac units are available for the summer Fully fenced in backyard is great for dogs Full garage access for storing or locking up gear/ bikes or other recreation equipment Garden access and enjoyment in the summer months! Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire home including living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard. The garage ( and entry way to the backyard) is where I store a few of my things and is available for storage of bikes or anything else you may need. Trash and recycling can also be found in there. Other things to note We’re lucky to have friendly neighbors on both sides, so this home is best suited for quieter stays—no parties or events, please. When not booked on Airbnb, the home is shared with a dog. We keep the space very clean, but those with dog allergies should take note. The stairs to the second-floor bedroom are on the steeper side (part of the charm of an older home!) and can be slippery in socks—please use caution.
