Sit. Rus. Or spend your time at Sitrus Huijs Country Villa however you like - relax inside the wonderful historic main house with a fire and a book, or listen to the birds in the beautiful garden. The large kitchen is ideal for hosting and making food and snacks to celebrate any moment with family & friends in the garden, or outside and underneath our beautiful pink Bougainvillea tree. Sitrus Huijs Country Villa is an entertainer's dream ! The space Sitrus Huijs Country Villa can comfortably accommodate 10 guests in 5 uniquely decorated rooms. The whole property consists of a main house, a detached cottage, a large tranquil garden with various fruit trees, a green house, a large boma fire pit area, and a wood-fired hot tub. The main house has 3 bedrooms - two having queen size beds, and the largest room an extra long king size bed. The fourth room has a queen size bed and is not connected to the main house. The detached cottage has its own bedroom with queen size bed opening to its own private garden. The cottage also has its own garden shower room, and toilet, and also contains the property's laundry facilities. Each room offers something unique in terms of art or furniture. Between the main house and the cottage is a beautiful outside patio area for having a drink with friends, cooking/braaing something on the gas barbeque grill, or simply working underneath the beautiful Bougainvillea tree. You can even have an extravagant long table meal. Within the garden you have different spaces to relax. A large bome fire pit area offers a space where you can sit around a fire and catch up with friends and family, or make a delicious potjie. In the back of the garden is a large hot tub (we are still trying to figure out the maximum number of people it can hold) that is heated by burning wood. Guest access Guests can access the whole property with all its different amenities. Other things to note Sitrus Huijs Country Villa is situated in the older 'lower' part of Villiersdorp, which offers complete serenity and privacy. Unfortunately no secured parking is offered. There is ample parking space in front of the house - we have not had any incidents with vehicles parked in front of the house, but will still remind you to not leave anything valuable inside your vehicle as this is still South Africa.
