Description

A first-floor flat in a converted Victorian house on a beautiful tree-lined boulevard, which takes you from Portland Road to the seafront. Comfortable and quirky, the spacious and light-filled property is located in the residential Westbourne district of Hove and adjacent to Poet's Corner. The area has many amenities, with a short walk to local parks and excellent local transportation links to central Hove and Brighton town centre. The space You will find a generous sized lounge with two large sofas and a dining table, west-facing providing a beautiful afternoon light. One of the sofas is a double sofa-bed, comfortable for one adult. If you'd like us to make up the sofa bed for sleeping, please let us know in advance! There is a small extra charge for this. The spacious bedroom has a king-size bed and plenty of storage for a comfortable stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a full-sized fridge/ freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of storage and a table with chairs. Through the kitchen you can access the east-facing balcony to the rear of the property, perfect for a morning beverage. There is a separate WC and bathroom, complete with a bathtub and over-bath shower. The flat is supplied with 125Mb fibre broadband from Virgin media, enhanced by a fast custom wi-fi router. Long term local parking is residents only, but you can park nearby for up to 4 hours, paid. When we come we tend to just double park to unload, then leave our car north of Aldrington Station, where on-street parking is free. It’s about a 10 minute walk back via the station subway. Guest access The entrance to the main building brings you into a communal hallway. The door straight ahead is the entrance to the flat. You'll have the whole flat to yourself. There's also a private attic room that is cordoned off, as the stairs are very steep. Other things to note This is a no smoking flat. No pets are allowed. No parties. A maximum of 3 persons to stay.
