Boutique Farm and Forest Stay (Lower)

Located in the heart of Cape Breton to explore the attractions, only 20 minutes to Baddeck and to Margaree, and 1.5 km off the Cabot Trail. A place where history meets nature in comfort! Coffee/tea in rooms as well as welcome breakfast items to be enjoyed at your leisure. Our unique farm stay has over 10 km of hiking trails, grass pickleball, horseshoe pit, and an art studio/gift shop with hand made jeans/clothing, as well as wood art for sale. N.S. Accom # RYA-2023-24-03161018576112280 The space Located in a private wing of our farmhouse. We have two rooms for rent one on the upper floor and one below it on the main floor. Each suite has a tiny kitchenette with fridge and microwave and full bathroom. The rooms have been decorated with the history from the farm (180 years old) and several modern art pieces . The beds are built from apple wood from our large orchard & hand hewn barn beams, while the walls have been fashioned from reclaimed barn wood. We believe in exhibiting the history of this farm, but also including our own artistic contribution for all our guests to enjoy. Note: Second bed is a comfortable floor mattress. Guest access The room is separated from the main house which gives our guests privacy and comfort. The front entrance is rarely used by us and allows you a gateway to witness the veil of stars above, explore the farm trails, meet and greet our goats, sheep, or chickens, or even walk among the fire-flies aglow in the adjacent fields. Other things to note Massage Therapy and guided Tours. If you are interested in booking a massage or a guided cycling/hiking/fly-fishing tour during your stay please let us know well in advance.
