Private Annex/house- self check in -10 mins -M5

Come and visit the beautiful Blackdown Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Devon, we are 10 minutes from the M5 junction 26 or 27. Stay in a self contained private apartment in a friendly village, right in the heart of the picturesque Devon Countryside and the River Culm. It's Perfect for Walking, cycling or simply enjoying our lovely village with its quaint Tea Rooms and cosy pub 5 minutes walk away. Perfect for families, couples or friends. The space We would love to welcome you to join us in our private apartment in part of our 400 year old Devonshire house. You will have your own totally separate area and entrance with self check in. There is a private kitchen with a dining table and chairs, fridge, countertop oven, double hob, microwave, toaster and all cooking equipment and utensils. We also provide tea and coffee making facilities including an all important Cafetière and Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. If you need anything else I’m sure we can source it for you! Off of the kitchen is a downstairs additional toilet. The set of stairs then lead up to an extra large bright king size room with a king bed, a sofa, chest of drawers and a hanging rail with views to either the garden or surrounding countryside. There is then a hallway and a further quaint double bed room with a sofa and views over the countryside. This room has a cupboard with hanging space and storage. There is also a bathroom with a basin, shower and toilet. We provide Towels, bedding toiletries,toys and books for the kids. Friendly Dogs are very welcome to stay providing they have their own bed to sleep in and not the guest beds! We can provide locked bike storage if you are cycling in the area. We don't provide breakfast but there is an award winning Tea rooms and shop 5 minutes walk away that provide most basic groceries in their shop, delicious breakfast and lunch options and fantastic cakes. (The Culm Valley Inn pub beside the riverbank serve delicious food and Devonshire ales also 5 minutes walk away. (booking advisable) The stunning Jurassic Coast, the quaint seaside resort of Lyme Regis, and Beer are all 30 mins away, Exmoor and Dartmoor about 40 minutes away so its in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area or simply enjoy the beautiful rivers, walks or cycling from our doorstep! We also have a stunning garden and gas bbq at your disposal. Guest access We'll be on hand to meet you and help you settle in but will respect your privacy for the duration of your stay. (We do also offer self check in with a key box) should you prefer having said that we are mostly around if you need us! You and your fury friend are welcome to enjoy the garden during your stay and if your dog is friendly it may even enjoy a run around with our own Golden Retriever Boris. Alternatively There are amazing dog walks from the doorstep. Other things to note We can provide parking space for 1 car. Otherwise it’s free to park on the roadside by the church a few steps away. No naked flames (candles) to be lit in the house Dogs not to be left unattended in the house unless pre-arranged with the hosts. Wet muddy dogs are not allowed in the carpeted upstairs area.
