This new and only recently decorated penthouse apartment overlooks the lush green of the neighborhood all the way to the Atenas and El Rodeo mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances (toaster, fridge, cooking ware, cutlery, etc.) and a washing-dryer combo. The condominium hosts a 23m long lap and tanning pool, along with a well-equipped gym for the guest's use. The apartment is on the 5th and top floor of a well-maintained Condominium with a lot of green areas and gardens. There is fantastic bird-watching (i.e. the keel-billed Toucan!) just from the balcony or in the property's gardens, with guides on birds, reptiles and marine life readily to consult. Brasil de Mora is a somewhat rural suburb, with an interesting mix of country side and foreign impressions. They neighborhood is basically one street lined by small housing condominiums and typical costarrican country houses and is very quiet, despite providing easy access to Cuidad Colon (3min), Santa Ana (5min), Escazu (13min) and the airport (25min). The condominium hosts a 25m long lap and tanning pool, along with a well-equipped gym for the guest's use (with personal access card). There is a private parking under the building and close to the elevator. Usually I or the co-host Tati are on site and can help out with anything needed. Brasil de Mora is a tranquil neighborhood just before Cuidad Colon and basically composed of green hills with large mansions. Just in front is a small store ("pulpería"), which has almost everything you'd expect from a supermarket. Two typical Costa Rican restaurants ("sodas") are just steps away and further down the street (about 200m) there is a bakery and greengrocer. Despite its quick access to Highway 27 (only 2min by car), which brings you in less than an hour to the Central Pacific Ocean (Jaco, Playa Hermosa, Carara National Park) and in about 35 minutes to San Jose Center, it is surrounded by lush tropical forests boasting an incredible biodiversity, especially of birds. Brasil de Mora and Cuidad Colon are characterized by a transitional climate, ranging from Tropical Rain Forest to Pre-Mountain Forests, that means that it is much warmer than San Jose, and less rainy than the Pacific, almost always maintaining a pleasant breeze. Toucans, parrots, parakeets, egrets, motmots, cuckoos, and many species of hummingbirds are easily observed from and around the building. The neighborhood is safe to walk at pretty much any hour. Many amenities are easily accesible on foot, like supermarkets, cash machine, pizzeria and other small restaurants within 10min walking distance. The public bus (about $1 fare) to and from San Jose drives through Santa Ana and Escazu and stops right in front of the condominium at about 20m from the entrance. Uber is cheap and safe to get around, I also have private driving service contacts available if needed. For rental cars, there are two parking lots available for the guests (numbers 12 and 13), that are roofed and immediately at the elevator. The condominium is located in a rural area. During the day and night, you might hear some dogs, roosters and many birds.
