Relax in the serene location. The Whitefish Chain of 14 Lakes surrounds us. Your hosts (based on availability) have pontoons for rent/delivery to the Chain of Lakes. Private entrance walks out to 9.8 acre private fishing pond, row boat, fire pit. Private patio/outdoor dining overlooking pond. Inside there’s a fireplace, pool table, board games, large smart tv, kitchenette, futon couch, one bdrm w/ two queen beds and one w/ twin over full bunk beds, and large full bath with oversized tub. The space When you come to Butternut Pond you’ll be staying in the lower level walkout of our home. Keep in mind we do live upstairs and this will be similar to lower level apartment living. We are not noisy people but life happens and you may hear us living upstairs. Your space is completely private and faces the pond. We are the only house on that large pond. The backyard is yours during your stay. The front yard is where we run Larry’s Lake Rentals and you can expect to see boat cleaning and other related things happening on any given day in the warmer months, but you’ll only run into us as you make your way to parking. We have a Standard Poodle that stays up top most of the time but he may come to the back yard to greet you on rare occasion. There’s a primitive dock and row boat that you’re welcome to use. The pond is stocked with fish and basic fishing equipment is available upon request. Inside we hope we provide everything you need. The kitchenette has most everything to throw together a meal. We are lacking counter space and laundry but that’s in the works! You can relax or play here as we’ve tried to provide something fun for everyone. Pool table, board games, movies, books and more. We look forward to having you and making your stay the best it can be! Guest access Your space is the walkout basement of our house. There’s a dedicated cement stairway beside the attached garage that will get you to your entrance. Parking is at the back of the yard under the pine tree but you’re welcome to pull up to unload and load your vehicle at any time. There is a smart lock set and the code will be given just prior to check in. Other things to note We run a boat rental business as well. If you’re interested in boating on The Whitefish Chain we may have a pontoon available for rent. One day rentals are very hard to come by however so keep that in mind. Just let us know if you might be interested and we’ll do what we can to get you out on the lake. We also have paddle boards for rent for the lakes or our pond based on availability.
