The space Your private entrance allows you to come and go without interruption and we only host one booking at a time which ensures your privacy. We endeavour to meet your personal requirements during your stay and welcome your requests. The property is owner occupied upstairs and at times you may hear us moving around. If you need a quieter space please consider closing both bedroom and living room doors. We have a friendly Boston terrier and will accept a small dog as part of your stay upon prior arrangement. Please contact us prior to your stay to arrange for charging of electric vehicles. Guest access Entry is signposted on the ground floor sliding door - "Entrance ". Other things to note Our place is a 5 minute walk to Diamond Harbour 4 Square supermarket (open daily from 8am to 7pm), Two Thumbs Restaurant and Salt Takeaways (open Wednesday to Sunday). A 10 minute drive to the ferry wharf, Diamond Harbour Eatery and Soulful Cafe. Regular passenger ferry to Lyttleton travel time 15 minutes. Lyttelton Farmers Market on Saturday morning provides a range of artisan goods and fresh local produce. Scenic walks at your doorstep. Outdoor attractions include Charteris Bay Golf Club and Orton Bradley Farm Park. Diamond Harbour village offers gallery exhibitions at historic Stoddart Cottage. Close by is Purau Bay and Port Levy. Day trips include Little River cafe and art gallery and further on to Barry's Bay for artisan cheese, Wainui for fishing spots and Akaroa for shopping and boat trips. Our place is a 40 minute drive to Christchurch Art Gallery, CBD, Botanical Gardens and Riverside Markets. One hour drive to Christchurch international airport.
