It can be easily reached by public transport from the train station in 15 to 20 minutes, with a stop right in front of the door. And it's just a few miles from the highways. The apartment offers enough space for 2–4 people with separate sleeping arrangements, and is so well suited for multi-day stays during the week. Ideal for professional appointments (further education, craftsmen, etc.) in Würzburg, with evening enjoyment of nature-oriented recreational opportunities. The apartment is particularly popular with families and small groups up to 6 people visiting Würzburg, and at the same time want to use the diverse cycling and hiking trails, or the swimming opportunities on the Main etc. for a weekend or longer stays (Thursday and Sunday for a long weekend are cheaper in price). Even if you are in transit, you benefit from the cheap connection location to the highways in all directions as well as from the diverse offers of a big city with at the same time relaxing in the vicinity of the apartment. You will stay in a typical shell limestone house from 1900 and enter the apartment on the ground floor (Hochpaterre) through a separate entrance in the house. After entering the apartment, to the right of the corridor, the "balcony room" is located as a two/three/four-bed room with the large southwest balcony (12 sqm) with garden view over the Main Valley. This room consists of a living area with a sitting or sofa bed (up to 2 people at 140x200 cm), a coffee table (depending on the number of guests), floor lamp, chest of drawers, a wardrobe with mirror. A table for working can be provided if desired. An open door arch delimits the sleeping area with the double bed made of untreated pine wood. The TV (satellite TV) is also located here, so you can watch it comfortably from bed. From the living area you step onto the balcony with a table and wicker armchairs for a cozy gathering for breakfast or dinner. 2 sun loungers as well as a parasol are ideal for relaxing. To the left of the hallway is the eat-in kitchen, equipped with a ceramic cooktop, fridge, microwave, kettle, French press coffee maker, tea strainer, and teapot for loose-leaf teas, pots and pans, etc., dishes, glasses (including red and white wine, and sparkling wine), and cutlery. Everything is of course enough for up to 6 people. A dining table with pull-out function with up to 6 chairs complete the kitchen area. Two high chairs can also be provided, as needed. From the kitchen, you can access the “Blue Room,” which has two single beds, a wicker armchair, a dresser, a closet, and a TV (if desired). The bathroom has a shower (shower head with different settings) and large mirror cabinet; hairdryer is available, as well as hand soap and toilet paper. Towels are provided. The apartment is equipped with soundproofing windows of the highest soundproofing level. In addition, the old windows are placed in the front. The remaining audible noise is around 30 decibels, which is at the lowest threshold of audibility (whispering reaches a sound level of 20 decibels). The apartment has high ceilings (about 270 cm), is partly original from the 1920s with wooden furniture, and is ecologically renovated. The floor is oak parquet. The towels and linens are made of organic cotton and are awarded the highest textile ecological GOTS label. Cleaning/dish soap is also selected according to these criteria. All bedrooms have shutters or blackout curtains. We have been heating with pellets (of German origin) for 10 years and a solar thermal system. Or simply to relax with a "journey around the house" on foot or by bike or bus. Prices are calculated from 2 people and reflect the space that hotels usually cannot offer in this form. Weekends are in high demand.
