KiaOra Le Quesnoy Cozy house at the foot of the ramparts

Welcome to the “Kia Ora Le Quesnoy” house (welcome in New Zealand). You will stay in a lovely non-smoking townhouse located in the heart of Le Quesnoy with all amenities within walking distance (bakery, butcher, pharmacy...). The ramparts, the New Zealand Memorial, the museum and the recreation center are within a short walk. We welcome private and business travelers year-round The space The house is located in the town square, and several events take place regularly (flower market, amusement park, Bimberlot festival, milk festival, Christmas market, etc.) in front of the house. A completely renovated non-smoking house offering a large open-plan living space for dining and relaxing. At the back of the ground floor, you will find a shower and a bathtub, a toilet and a washing machine. The 2 floors leading to the bedrooms are accessed by slightly steep stairs typical of townhouses. Please note this for older people or those with limited mobility. On the 1st, a double bedroom on the square side and a single room on the courtyard side. On the second floor, there is a large 160 x 200 bed and a reading area with the baby bed. Places to do: - the ramparts - the leisure center of the Étang du Pont Rouge - The Unleashed City - the AquaBubbleBoom inflatable structure during the summer - Forest of Mormal - the Matisse Museum - Valenciennes is less than 30 minutes away, Lille is less than 1 hour away, and Maubeuge is 25 minutes away. The tourist office is a short walk away. Feel free to ask for advice on dining with the charm of Avesnois or on visiting the best places. We regularly host families with children who do not want to be accommodated in a space with the smell of cigarettes. Smoking in a common area is punishable by a €450 fine. We will be sure to contact Airbnb if the rule is not respected. The glass-ceramic plate has a lock button, when you want to turn it on, it indicates Lo, press the key for a few seconds to unlock. 150l water heater, no worries for 5 showers but if everyone wants to take a bath you have to spread out the use of the bathroom so that everyone has hot water in quantity. The size of the water heater is adapted to the constraints of the accommodation with a narrow and low cellar but also consistent with dpe standards.
