Located just a stone's throw away from Smugglers Notch and conveniently close to popular wedding venues, this inviting house provides a comfortable and convenient base for your adventures. With its charm, modern amenities, and breathtaking surroundings, it's the ideal place to relax and explore all that Vermont has to offer. INTERIOR: Our home has everything you need to settle in during your stay. Everything thing to high end sheets to a fulling stocked kitchen, we want you to feel at home. The great room has stunning floor to ceiling windows facing the green mountains with a view of Mount Mansfield and the trails at Smugglers Notch. Your family or group can cozy up around the fireplace to enjoy your morning coffee or evening tea soaking in the views. For those who want to stay in and cook, the kitchen is completely stocked to cook, bake or eat the take out from the local restaurants. You will find a new All-Clad pot and pan set to make dinner with local provisions along with a William Sonoma bake set to bake a cookies for a after dinner treat. The downstairs bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. Enjoy the natural light from the skylight while showering in the walk in shower! This house is set up for downstairs living. There is a washer and dryer in the closet off the kitchen to wash those biking/hiking clothes after your adventures or dry the kids wet mittens after a day on the slopes Upstairs you will find a cozy loft overlooking the great room! Cuddle up in the bean bag chairs or pull out couch and enjoy a night in to watch your favorite movie. The two other bedrooms for are located upstairs in the turrets with fantastic views of the mountains. The bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower with plenty of towels, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. EXTERIOR: The front and back yard gives a large area to enjoy lawn games during the day and star gazing at night with your friends and family. The landscaping makes this space very private from the road. The back patio is equipped with a 3 burner grill for the grill master of the group. Enjoy the dinner outside at the table or your morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs if the weather is not moody. The shrubs and bushes around the house were planted with pollinators in mind. Enjoy the butterflies, birds and bees as the feast off of the different blooms each season! The neighborhood farms provides a calming slow living environment. Across the street the longhorn cattle will be grazing in the fields and next door you will see rows of organic veggies growing at Knee Deep Farm. The driveway is large enough for multiple vehicles. You will have access to the house and yard. You will NOT have access to the detached garage. As your dedicated host, we are committed to ensuring your stay is enjoyable. Neighborhood description The house sits on 8 acres surrounded by hay fields, a stream and meadows. Our neighbors run an organic farm that grows the best veggies around! The hedgerow of apple trees, lilacs and cedar tree provides privacy from the road. A short drive to everything you need, the village of Jeffersonville is 5 minutes down the hill with restaurants, shops, groceries and more! We are 2 minutes away from Smugglers Notch Resort as well as the Brewster Ridge/Fox Run Disc Golf Course. There are plenty of year-round activities for groups of all ages. From May through November, up and over the scenic Notch Road will bring you to Stowe Mountain Resort in just 15 minutes and to Main Street Stowe in 25 minutes. Please note that during the winter months the NOTCH RD IS CLOSED and it can be up to an hour drive around the mountain. There are a number of wedding venues minutes away including The Barn at Boyden Farm, Barn at Smugglers Notch, The Mansfield Barn, Spruce Peak Lodge. Burlington, featuring attractions such as Church Street with shopping and an active night life and Lake Champlain is approximately 45 minutes.
