Oak Cottage, near Henfield

Oak Cottage is a beautiful home situated on the corner of the B2116 and Wineham Lane in West Sussex. This home is a lovely escape with a large garden with lots of footpaths in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The space Oak Cottage has three king sized bedrooms, and a small single bedroom. Upstairs there is a family bathroom with shower and an ensuite separate shower (with small step) and bath in the master bedroom. There is a toilet downstairs in the utility room. The kitchen is well equipped and includes an Aga and conventional oven, the living area is open plan and large and includes a family table with eight chairs and wood burner. There is a separate cosy snug which includes office space. The space outside consists of a front drive and small turning circle, this space accommodates two cars, further space for additional cars can be made available. There is access to a gym with advance notice and gym boot camp on a Sunday morning The garden path to the left of the house leads down an arched flower path to the back garden gate, guests are not permitted beyond this gate, which leads to the stables, horses, barns and fields. The back garden is secure (to date) and includes a patio. There is a pond area which is out of bounds, but you can hear the waterfall in the summer and you can watch heron, king fisher, duck and Moorhen. The Wheatsheaf Pub is about 30 m from the Cottage and serves food and is family and dog friendly Guest access As above. Guests have access to the back garden which is secure. Guests will be provided access information before arrival via the host. Other things to note Please note there may be occasional traffic in the stables / barn area that should not intrude on your stay. There is an industrial park (Winterpick) next door which is not noisy but does include a composting plant which occasionally (when the compost is turned) causes a short term compost smell. This is irregular, but usually monthly
