Other things to note General Rules and Regulations to be followed by all guests. SECURITY DEPOSIT We collect a refundable security deposit of ₹3000 at check-in. It needs to be deposited only via BHIM-UPI (Bank app), PhonePe, Paytm or Gpay. Payment via CRED, Credit Cards etc. will attract 1-3% additional fee. Refunds are processed by 4 PM on check-out day or the next business day if check-out falls on a Sunday or public holiday after deducting any damages or losses to the property. If damages exceed the security deposit, the guest will be required to pay the difference via cash or UPI. SMOKING POLICY Smoking is NOT allowed in the interior of the apartment. A cleaning fee of Rs.5,000 will be charged if found smoking inside the home to cover costs of deodorizing drapes and upholstery. Smoking shall be restricted only to the balcony / terrace of the apartment. Smoking & drinking is NOT allowed in the common areas of the residential complex. COMPLIANCE The guest must submit IDs of all the person’s (guests) that will be staying in the property to the property manager prior to the check-in and sign the check-in form. NIGHT TIME CHECK-IN / CHECKOUT We charge an additional Rs. 500 to facilitate check-in or check-out at night-time / non-operating hours (between 11 PM and 8 AM) to compensate for the extra resources and effort that goes into the facilitating. EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and shall only be provided after a request for the same accompanied by a confirmation. The same shall be chargeable at the discretion of the host at the amount decided and conveyed by the host. BALANCE PAYMENT Any balance payment of the total consideration shall be due at the Check-in, and should be paid before accessing the property. HOUSEKEEPING Housekeeping service will be limited to alternate days only unless categorically informed to the guest otherwise. Utensil cleaning is not included in housekeeping and if required, can be requested for a small fee of Rs. 500. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit, we strongly suggest you bring beach towels. VISITOR POLICY We have a 'No Visitors' policy. People other than those in the guest party set forth at check-in may not enter in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of the main guest and will be asked to move out immediately. DAMAGES POLICY The guest is liable to pay for any damage or loss to the property or its belongings, or any other cost incurred by homeowner or property manager due to Guest’s stay. The property is furnished and includes hard furnishings, soft furnishings, fixtures, appliances, bedding, kitchenware etc . The guest must take good care of these. Appliances should only be used for their intended use. INDEMNIFICATION Guests take full responsibility of their actions and of the property during their stay and indemnify owner and property managers of any liability, illegality and any consequences there of arising out of Guests actions during the stay. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Casa Melhor, Apartment Owner, Residential Complex from any and all claims for loss, accidents, injuries, or illnesses that may arise to any person or property while on the premises or utilizing its facilities. This indemnification shall survive the life of this agreement. In other words, the owners of the property or the management company are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities, neither responsible for the damage or loss of personal belongings, or valuables of the guest. Other general rules & policies - No ILLEGAL activity allowed. Drugs, firearms, prostitution or other illegal activities are not allowed in the property. The property shall only be used for short term stay and not for any commercial activity, neither for sub-letting. If found shall be reported to the policing authority. Pets are NOT allowed. Parties are NOT allowed. The maximum number of guests is limited to the number of beds in the property. Extra guests will not be allowed.
