This 2 bedroom duplex offers a safe haven for people who don't want to be bothered by noise of the city. A car is a must here, but also Uber and taxis are easy to access. A dedicated work space with a monitor, ergonomic chair and lamp is provided to make any work stay easy, just plug in your computer! The space A two bedroom unit, fully self contained with key safe entrance. It has a washing/ dryer combo machine and an outdoor area to dry clothes, if preferred. Two quality queen beds with doonas and pillows. Linen is supplied and the beds are ready to go! The bathroom is supplied with towels, basic essentials of soap, shampoo and conditioner. A dedicated work space is provided with a monitor and HDMI cable. Fully functional kitchen with tea, coffee and essential supplies. If you are staying for 2 weeks or more, a weekly clean and change of linen is included in the price. Guest access You have access to the backyard as well to dry clothes from washing machine. However the machine has a drying component as well. The porch between the house and flat is covered and you may use clothes horse if it's raining. Other things to note This unit is a short walk to the small shops at Jerrabomberra. Here we have a doctors surgery, a restaurant, a post office, a hairdresser, a florist and some other small businesses. The larger shopping centre is a pleasant 15 minute walk or 5 mins in the car. It includes, Woolworths, pharmacy, hairdresser, doctor, dentist, Anytime Fitness, Bakers Delight, coffee shop, an Asian restaurant and a pub , service station, and carwash. A fast food precinct, Aldi store, and 7-Eleven petrol station are also close by to the larger shopping centre. Lots of parks to walk around and it is flat. An easy drive to Canberra Civic Square(22mins Google maps), Parliament house, Floriade, Museums and retail therapy! In the other direction, you can go to Queanbeyan in 15 mins and source everything you need, plus FREE parking! This area is close to places that can be good day trips such as to National parks eg Namadgi National Park in ACT ( 30 mins) and Kosciusko National Park about 2 hour drive on Monaro Highway. Lots of day trips to places such as the picturesque village of Bungendore, Lanyon Homestead ( ACT), the Snow fields of Selwyn, Perisher and Thedbo (day bus trips from Canberra) and even the south coast town of Batemans Bay is under a 2 hour drive from this area. If you are a wine buff, we are just under an hour to the regions’ wine area of Murrumbateman. Some tours that originate in Canberra go round the wineries.
