Bright and light filled cottage on the waters edge of Salt Harbour Herring Neck. Water views from every window. A scenic 15 minute drive to the town of Twillingate. Enjoy all the activities in town then relax on the dock and watch the boats and seagulls in utter peace. Stargazing is spectacular as there is no light pollution. Peaceful, serene and private - this is the spot to relax and refresh your soul. The space A traditional fisherman and family saltbox home built in 1911 with over 300 ft of shoreline. The house was floated to this location in 1957 and approx. 300 people helped to raise it to where it now sits. The wharf sits over deep water where the 'Newfie Girl' longliner was moored. Spacious living/kitchen areas with stunning views, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, big screen TV (for those weather days). Completely updated yet retains the old world charm.
