Welcome to the most unique guest space in the entire area. Nestled in a woodland, farm setting sits the Christmas Cabin.The tree lined drive leading to the cozy cabin, is a pond, walking trails, and in the summer a winding sunflower trail. The cabin is part of Rootstown Reindeer Farm, with agritourism activities throughout the year. Our farm guest area ,for family & friends, is attached to listing (similar to a duplex) but not in listing itself. Located between Kent State University & NEOMED. The space The Christmas Cabin has been carefully curated in tasteful, yet whimsical Christmas decorations. Each room has a fireplace with stockings hung with care. The cozy great room has plenty of room for games, puzzles and movies provided. The covered porches overlook a beautiful view of the east side of the farm. You can watch either the sun rise or the sunset from the porches. Guest access Our Christmas Cabin is the entire main floor living area, and guests are free to roam the east side of the farm, the walking trails or down by the pond. The pond is not currently available for swimming, fishing or boating. We ask they not enter any barns or animal occupied pastures without a farmhand or owners to guide them. We do have a farm guest area that is sometimes occupied by owners friends and family. They may wave but will never disturb you. There is a propane grill in the fenced back yard to enjoy and a place to sit behind the barn adjoining that fence. Other things to note The Christmas has a gas grill and outdoor fire pit in the fenced in back yard. The Christmas Cabin is on a septic system so we as that only tissue be flushed. The Christmas Cabin is on a working farm so folks are usually buzzing around getting things done, or taking care of the animals on the farm. Christmas is an especially busy season and has tour guests on the farm property on the west side of the farm, opposite of the Christmas cabin.
