Farmhouse on a hillside position, enjoying views overlooking the Derbyshire valleys. A short drive to Carsington Water. Fantastic walking country with many places to explore. Sleeps up to 24 in 10 bedrooms and 8 en suites / shared bathrooms. You are on a shared site with another self catering property. Private Games Room. Dog friendly, we charge an additional £30 PER DOG for the duration of your stay and can accept 3 dogs. Fabulous family holiday house, not a party venue. The space Manifold Farmhouse is a spacious property you enter from the rear of the farmhouse via a glass walled walkway, this leads in one direction to the lounges and a couple of bedrooms and the other to the kitchen/ diner and a further bedroom. The dining area is light and spacious, offering a table that seats up to 20 guests comfortably, using a mixture of benches and chairs. This flows into the modern, bespoke kitchen, well equipped with all mod appliances and plenty of crockery, glassware and cooking items. A tiled hallway leads down to a staircase that allows access to 2 of the first floor bedrooms and also a ground floor bedroom with en suite. At the opposite side of the house you have 2 lounges and 2 further downstairs bedrooms. The first lounge is light and airy and furnished with comfy sofas and plush furnishings, with a decorative fireplace , that is not in use. The 2nd lounge has a working log burning fire, windows on 3 sides so offering an abundance of natural light and simply decorated in plain greys and soft pink cushions. There are 2 more ground floor bedrooms both with en suites. A tiled hallway leads to the 2nd staircase that takes you to the 5 further bedrooms upstairs. In a separate stone outbuilding you have a stunning games room, hosting a table tennis table, table football, TV, log burner and large bean bags. There is also a small kitchenette area to make teas and coffees with undercounter fridge. There is a great outdoor space, with a large lawn in front of the property that is ideal for ball games and a further lawn area to the side of the property too. There is a patio area with BBQ and picnic benches situated to the front of the house - allowing you to enjoy the open countryside towards Idridgehay. There is a 7kw electric charging station to the rear of the property Guest access Exclusive use of the self catering accommodation, however you are on a shared site with another self catering cottage Other things to note The property is on a shared site with another self catering property, but both properties have their own gardens and parking areas. Each bedroom offer flexible options that can be made up as twins or doubles so you can pick and choose your layout to suit. You need to have made your request two weeks in advance as the beds cannot be changed upon arrival as there is no staff on site. We provide each guest with fresh towels. Hand soap and shower gel in the bathrooms. Plenty of private parking to the rear of the property. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the Peak District with plenty of country pursuits but are not looking for a party venue, this is the ideal property for your stay. We also accept well behaved Hen/Stag groups but please be mindful that it is on a shared site. Please note that we are dog friendly at this property however, dogs must be kept under control at all times and never be left unattended. For your information, a maximum of 3 dogs are allowed on site if pre-arranged - they are welcome in all downstairs areas, but you will be expected to keep them out of the bedrooms and off the soft furnishings. We do charge £30 PER DOG for the duration of your stay. For the comfort of all guests, outdoor shoes are not generally worn on the carpeted area of the house, so don’t forget your slippers! Noise Policy - due to the quiet location, late-night noise must be confined to inside the building by 10 pm as neighbours are in close proximity. Please respect this. No fireworks, drones or Chinese Lanterns; you are on the edge of a National Park with wildlife and livestock close by. Wifi – we provide free wifi however, as the Peak District is in a beautiful rural location, sometimes there can be intermittent wifi signal that is beyond our control; we also hope you appreciate that we cannot guarantee wifi if there are technical issues out of our control. Please bring your own cot bed linen as this is not provided
