Gorgeous 3-BR Mid-Century A-Frame on Trade Lake

Beautiful updated 1966 A-Frame cabin with lake side deck and flat yard for games and fun! This is our personal vacation property, with very limited seasonal availability for rental. We are located on a quiet bay on the Trade Lake chain, great for fishing and recreation with dock access. Trade Lake is near several small towns like Frederic and Grantsburg, with many fun bars, restaurants, golf courses, and other attractions. The space We bought this A-Frame as the perfect 3 season relaxion destination for ourselves, and we can't wait to share it with you! We have our cabin decorated cleanly and comfortably, inspired by Nordic design. We hope you enjoy the original shiplap walls, and exposed beams and framing that give our A-Frame it's unique style and personality. Our cabin features a spacious living area, comfortably sized bedrooms, and a kitchen with space for two adults to work. It is a cozy little A-Frame, but there is more than enough space for a group of seven people to hang out. You'll be spending most of your time outside in the yard or on the lake anyway! If the weather is not agreeable, there is plenty of room to gather around the large coffee table for games, or enjoy each others company with plenty of space in the living room. The upstairs bedrooms are generous in size for a cozy A-Frame, and the main floor bedroom is comfortable and functional with laundry access. All of the beds feature crisp and clean white sheet sets, with very comfortable newer mattresses. This cabin is fully air conditioned with two mini-splits, one in the main living area and one in the upstairs master bedroom. These mini-splits can provide heat as well. Outside, you can enjoy the mostly flat yard area with ample space for sun bathing, picnics, outdoor games, and bonfires! We do provide guests with 6 plastic Adirondack chairs for around the fire, a bean bags set, and access to our 40 foot dock. Our pontoon will be parked on one side of the dock for the season, but the other side is yours for your stay! The deck area has a dining table with seating for 6 with an umbrella if needed. Our favorite part of the yard is the lakeside firepit area, where you can have a few beverages and enjoy each other's company with serene water views and the sounds of nature. This cabin's main amenity is the beautiful Trade Lake chain. Our A-Frame sits on a quiet bay on Big Trade Lake, with very little boat traffic. What the lake lacks in acreage, it makes up for in scenic shoreline. You can cruise around the several unique bays and islands for hours, and even paddle over to Little Trade Lake with the right vessel! This is one of Wisconsin's premier fishing lakes too, featuring Bass and panfish, as well as Pike, Walleye, and Musky. This spring-fed lake attracts all kinds of wildlife, including a bald eagle's nest visible from the water! After your day out enjoying what Northwest Wisconsin has to offer, you'll have no trouble posting your pictures to the 'gram with our high speed internet. We also have a 42" Smart TV with all of the streaming apps ready for you, should you choose to spend your evening watching your favorite show or movie with the lake as your backdrop. Our listing is unique because this is not a full-time Airbnb. We frequently use this property ourselves, and only rent it out a handful of times each year to help supplement costs. This means that we have furnished our A-Frame with quality items from the beds, to the furniture, to the kitchen, the linens, and everywhere you look. We also take great pride in maintaining the property inside and out for our own enjoyment and yours. Guest access Guests have access to the deck, yard, dock, beach, parking, and the entire cabin with the exception of a couple of storage closets. Other things to note This cabin does have neighbors, so please be respectful of their relaxation time as well. Guests beyond those listed in your booking are not allowed without prior approval. The kitchen does not feature an oven or stovetop, so cooking will need to be done primarily outdoors on the grill. The kitchen does feature several small kitchen appliances like an electric griddle, hot plate, pizza maker, toaster, air fryer, and coffee machine. Dining will take place primarily outdoors as well as there is no dedicated dining space inside, with the exception of three bar stools at the kitchen peninsula. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are very steep, and not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues. If you choose to utilize the lakeside firepit, firewood is not provided.
