Next to your curtain on the kitchen side across from the refrigerator is a small sideboard with things guests may find useful, e.g., an assortment of tea, sanitizer, face masks, shopping and garbage bags. There is a matching curtain from my entrance to the shared kitchen. My curtain is generally closed to provide privacy. Feel free to keep your curtain close or open as you wish. So, you rarely see me, and when I do, it is in the shared kitchen . I take my cues from my guests: generally just leave them alone unless they need any help or would like suggestions for exploring the city.
