Luxury holiday cabin at the foot of Twmbarlwm and the famous Iron aged Hillfort, built discretely into the landscape for a private and relaxing vacation. The cabin faces South to Machen Mountain with our friendly Alpacas for company that reside just outside the cabin. - Free welcome pack - Private hot tub & fire pit with grill - £20 for your entire stay (pay when you’re here) - Extra logs £10 per sack Please Note **Maximum occupancy 5 adults/4 adults 2 children under 16** NOT 6 ADULTS SORRY The space Located near Twmbarlwm you are free to walk the entire common with a vast area to ride, we are just a 20min ride to some of the best mountain biking trails and downhill tracks in the UK. As for the farm itself we are happy to share the space and view our animals. The cabin is located next to our lovely alpacas and their home, please ensure you do not feed or interact with them unless supervised by the hosts. This is to ensure your safety and theirs, they get enough food and love from us! :) Sit back and relax, watching them stroll through the day. TWMBARLWM WALK This 2 hour walk will take you up to the top of the Iron Age hillfort of Twmbarlwm. It was once a centre for the Silurian Celts who fought a 25-year war with Rome. The hill fort would have been well defended with ramparts, warriors on horseback and speedy chariots. Guest access *Important Notice* The parking spaces are approximately 25 metres away from the cabin itself. The downhill path to the cabin includes steps and chippings. This cabin is hidden away from the farmhouse and is very private. Other things to note *We are only making this cabin available to a maximum of 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children under 16 and not 6 adults. Please be respectful with noise and common decency must be used in and around the private hot tub area.
