The Hay Barn

Peaceful hideaway in the beautiful Dorset farming land. Sumptious King size bed with extra deep 1400 pocket sprung mattress, 400 count pure cotton bed linen, goose feather duvet. Pretty furnishings, sitting room/living room log burner, kitchen, bathroom. The property is secluded in it's own patio garden, it is warm and cosy in the Winter months and you can toast your toes in front of the log burner, In the Summer you can fling open the patio doors and enjoy the counrty sounds of bird song and cows munching and cook up some localy sorced grub on the BBQ! We provide quick light charcoal by the bag for £1 to save you from buying a whole bag if you only want to cook once. Fighting irons for th BBQ also provided. Guest access The Hay Barn has it's own private patio garden with BBQ and the use of a (for fun) tennis / badminton court - which must be booked as this is shared with other holiday makers. There is a laundry room for your use with a tumble dryer. Board games can also be found in the laundry room plus umbrellas, and a highchair for those guests visiting with small children. Other things to note Logs and kindle are free to guests, if you are running short and we haven't noticed - please let us know and we will replenish your store. If there is anything missing or that you feel should be available and isn't, please do let us know as soon as possible and we will try our best put it right, this feed back helps us to improve the facilities to make your stay more enjoyable. We do not have live TV at all in the property or the main house. We do however have a flat screen and Wifi connection plus Net-flicks. We have two cats George and Itty. They are both very friendly, but will respect the fact that you might not be so keen on their company. If you are a cat lover please do not encourage them to enter the property for this reason, but cuddles and strokes on the patio are much appreciated! Both know the property is out of bounds, but will happily ignore this knowledge if encouraged! 'Shoo' or 'No' will easily send them scurrying if you are not a cat lover! Please do not ever feed the cats as one has a milk allergy.
