Relax with some stargazing at our cozy firepit. This camping experience is a great getaway for couples, small groups of friends, or small families. Even though you will be off grid and in the woods, you will also be conveniently close to charming small towns like Pemberton, Medford, Mt. Holly, and Vincentown. The space Located in the wooded area of a private farm where the owners live on the premises, you will be steps away from a lake, hiking trails, and blueberry farms. The canvas tent is a Sibley 600 Pro Twin Bell Tent with 220 ft² of floor space. Inside you will find a twin cot with queen mattress foam pad, and other folding cots for additional guests. We also provide a coffee table with pouf cushion seating to play board games at. Inside the tent we have stored everything you need for dining; camp stove, pots and pans, French press (please bring your own coffee), dishes, cups and cutlery. We also have LED pole lights to help illuminate the space at night. Outside you will find a private tent for the toilet and sink, as well as another private tent for showering. Enjoy preparing and eating your meals outside with the provided 6ft picnic table and rain fly to protect you from the weather and sun. There is a nylon hammock for you to relax in and take in the sounds of the woods. If you are in the playful mood, we have a ladder ball set as well. Guest access I do not live on the property. The owners are kind enough to share their space and provide this unique experience, so please treat it with the utmost respect. Carry in - carry out. Feel free to explore the wooded area the tent is located on, but please be aware of property signage so that you do not wander onto neighboring properties. Access to the barns and farm area are strictly prohibited. Access to the campsite and firepit only. Parking available in a nearby lot. Other things to note There is a maximum of 4 guest permitted, there are no visitors allowed. Non-potable water for toilet and washing can be drawn from the well near the firepit. Being on the farm comes with wildlife. Animals and insects are probable. Use the trash cans provided. Keep food waste away from the tent, so as to not lure wildlife. We cannot control the elements; they can be unpredictable. Please check the weather before you arrive and dress accordingly. Catch and release fishing and BYO kayak for kayaking only steps away at nearby lake and rivers. Firewood is not included: it is available at a nearby Village Store, or you may bring your own. Please be aware that no bedding/linens are provided. Guests need to bring your own, nights can get cold in the early Spring and in Fall. Please bring mattress cover and sheets to fit a queen mattress. If the cots need to be used, a sleeping bag will suffice. This is a farm. Uneven grounds, bugs, grass, mud, and other wild animals should be expected. Please plan and pack accordingly. This is a tent, and I take care to clean it well, however some grass, leaves, bugs, should be expected. It is an outdoor accommodation.
