One day in 2019, I happened to stumble upon an old house on Jeju Island that had preserved the marks of time for over 40 years. Our family took it upon ourselves to personally repair the house, seeking to harmonize it with Jeju's nature and space. Polgaeoo(polgaewooyoung), surrounded by tangerine trees in the serene and small natural village of Polgae [Taehyung] Ri in the southern part of Jeju Island, consists of the main house, an outer house, and a garden. There is a spacious living room and kitchen where everyone can gather for meals and watch movies. Additionally, there is a bathroom where you can enjoy a bath while admiring Jeju's nature. Passing through a corridor with a small greenhouse, you will find the outer house. From there, you can peacefully sip green tea and take in the garden at a glance. There is also a small bathroom and a space for practicing yoga or simply lying down and resting. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself. The house consists of a main building, an annex, and an outdoor garden. The interior is spacious and filled with light, instilling tranquility in each space along with the surrounding landscape and the garden adorned with tangerine trees. It is a peaceful accommodation located in a serene seaside rural village where you can enjoy the nature of Jeju Island and relax.
