Fox Holler - 5 min to GSMNP entrance

Welcome to Fox Holler in the heart of Townsend, the "Peaceful Side" of the Smokies! Located just .5 miles beyond the Townsend Visitor's Center (host to many events and festivals), 5 miles to the GSMNP entrance, and minutes to the river. Only 15 miles to Cades Cove, 18 to Pigeon Forge, or 25 to Gatlinburg. Bring your bicycle to take in all the bike paths and the new Vee Hollow Mountain Bike Trail. Great local dining, breweries, and ice cream! The space We hope you'll enjoy this warm space, lovingly, and personally, crafted with (local) century old barn wood. Lots of custom touches were added to make the most of this cozy guest house. The kitchen should supply all your needs and is fully stocked with the essential household items. The cozy bedroom nook is fitted with a queen mattress and chest of drawers. The bedroom can be closed with the custom made barn door. Additional guests will sleep on the sofa bed. There is a full bath that includes a washer and dryer. Start your morning sipping coffee from the front porch as you watch the mist rise over the open fields, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Spend your day riding bikes on all the local trails, swim in the river, go tubing, take a hike! Then end your day by the fire pit, listening to the symphony of night sounds. If you like the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge you can be there in no time, but you can always come back to the "Peaceful Side". Guest access This is a guest house attatched to the main house. We have a wonderful full time tenant next door. Entrances, parking, and yard space are completely seperate. Other things to note HVAC is controlled by mini split with a white remote only for this unit. Central vents are shutoff and may be opened if extra air is wanted. *Windows do open and close and lock, if used please close and lock after use. * Due to changes in humidity the windows may be hard to open and close.
