Ishinomaki Home Base is a guesthouse operated by "Ishinomaki Laboratory" , a Japanese furniture brand. The first floor is a showroom where you can enjoy Ishinomaki Laboratory's furniture in a relaxed atmosphere and also has a cafe serving craft beer, a deerskin workshop, a handmade bicycle office, and a multipurpose event space.The second floor has four guest rooms, designed by renowned designers and long-time collaborators of Ishinomaki Laboratory. The studio is providing individualized solutions and concepts to clients and society with flexible creations between product and graphic design. The studio has developed several brands for its clients and launched them to the world. With partners in Japan, who have original techniques while using high quality materials, Drill Design has a valuable network of knowledgable professionals. The studio also offers designs for companies like MUJI, CANON, Mercedes, Camper, etc… DRILL DESIGN has exhibited its work in Tokyo, Singapore, Milan, Paris and Stockholm. Guest access You are free to use all areas except for "1F Cafe Kitchen" and "Bicycle Workshop 9w". Please enjoy using the furniture of Ishinomaki Workshop. Other things to note ■House Rules Due to the structure of the building, The ceiling is high, and the environment is prone to sound. As a simple lodging type guesthouse, the soundproofing in each room is not sufficient. In order to ensure that you have a pleasant stay, we ask that you do not use the hair dryer after 11:00 p.m, Please refrain from using the hair dryer after 11:00 p.m. and from talking late into the night. Thank you for your cooperation. ■Info About Check-in Our facility generally does not have a permanent staff. Therefore We have a self check-in system. You can check in anytime after 3:00 p.m. A key box for each room is located next to the kitchen door. Please operate the key to unlock it and enter the facility. When the date of your stay is nearing, we will send you an email with the details of the key to unlock the key. Please fill out the guest book when you enter your room.
