Guest suite in Franklin

Two bedroom Private Guest suite encompasses the entire second floor of a beautiful country home on the Shore of Taunton Bay. Suite has it's own private entrance on first floor which includes small bathroom with sink & toilet..large foyer stairs leading up to a Dining & Sitting area. French Doors lead to a small upper deck overlooking the Bay. The two large bedrooms have windows overlooking the bay. A kitchenette is located in a separate area between the living area and master bedroom. The space Bedroom 1 has a double bed with a window seat nook overlooking the bay. A larger second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a Futon sofa that can be used for sleeping . Between the bedrooms is the living area with dining table, couch & table with coffee pot and microwave oven., & Toaster I do supply coffee,Tea etc. & light Breakfast foods & snacks ... French doors lead from this area to the deck overlooking the Bay. Between the living area and the master bedroom is a separate area housing the kitchenette with sink, two burner stove top, and mini refrigerator. Bathroom is accessible from this area. The backyard over looking the bay has a private picnic area with a fire pit, picnic table, and chairs. Guest access Entire 2nd floor . Guest Suite. The front & backyard,access to shoreline...& private country Rd. When driving down the driveway you will pass a small cabin workshop. At times the owner will be there working. If you have any questions or need anything he will be there to help out when available. Other things to note The property is a private Quiet & Serene Wooded area, located off the beaten path. We are located 3 miles from Rt.1. off The Schoodic National Scenic Byway in Downeast Maine, 25 mins. from the Schoodic Peninsula Area of Acadia National Park and only 40-50 mins. away from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island. I live in the bottom floor of the house but have a separate entrance. The bottom and second floors are completely separate. Quiet, very private rural setting on a private Country rd. Neighbours mostly non visible on left side. Wooded area on right . Enjoy long nature walks, biking, jogging and hiking trails in nearby areas or Explore the Rocky shore line at low tide. Enjoy a warming fire or just relax on the deck, enjoying the Beautiful view of Taunton Bay.
