Prior's Lodge, Mount Grace Priory

Awarded 5 Star Gold by Visit England, Prior's Lodge is situated in the ground of Mount Grace Priory at the foot of the Cleveland Hills, set against some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain. The space Prior's Lodge has been converted from a range of four buildings to provide spacious two bedroom accommodation. The view from the front of the property looks over the wildflower area and the pond whilst the views from the rear of the property overlook the monastic ruins. The Accommodation, spread across the various levels of the property includes: A fully equipped fitted Kitchen Spacious Lounge with Dining Areas Family Bathroom with shower over bath Master Bedroom with King-size bed and En-suite Shower Room Twin bedded room with two single beds A Highchair and Cot is available on request Outside: A seating area overlooking the Wild Life Garden with out door furniture Parking for two vehicles A gate leading in to the ruins and gardens. When the site is closed to the public guest can explore the award winning restored gardens designed by Chris Beardshaw, the lake and wildlife garden as well as the Monastic ruins. When you stay at Prior's Lodge you can immerse in 1000 years on history on your doorstep. When the site is open to the public you can enjoy free access to the Arts and Crafts Manor House. Guest staying at an English Heritage receive a VIP card which provides a 10% discount in the onsite shop and tea rooms. The card also provides free access to nearby sites including Rievaulx Abbey, Helmsley Castle and Cliffords Tower in York.
