FREQUENT QUESTION: “Do most guests find my accommodation conveniently located to Mont Saint-Michel and other points of interest and provisioning?” While it's understandable from the comments that walking isn't always popular, most of my visitors appreciate the free use of my private parking lot, as well as the proximity of my home to both restaurants (5mn walk), and the pedestrian riverside walkway (a lovely walk along the river “Le Couesnon” that leads straight (and flat) to Mont Saint-Michel in 1 hour's walk or to the free shuttle buses 30 minutes away. My house is 5 minutes from this walk. Classic and electric bikes are also available for hire on my street. It is of course possible to find a few hotels in Mont Saint-Michel, but you'll need to budget much more just to be in the Mont... It is possible to find hotels in the parking area of the free shuttle bus, also a 30-minute walk from Mont Saint-Michel, but this area of hotels and parking lots for mass tourism lacks the charm and tranquility of my home...
