The space The home is 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths with a common living and dining area. It has a open well appointed kitchen. The front sunroom porch is spacious and comfortable surrounded by windows. It is the favorite place to socialize in the evenings, or to use as your private office. We also have lots of board games to keep everyone entertained. The Chesapeake Bay is very wide at Smith Beach so you don't even see the other side. Often in summer, there is very little to no surf and at low tide the sandy bottom is very shallow far off the beach. There is plenty of room to play in the shallow water. The beach area near our place varies in size throughout the year but at low tide you have a lot of areas to explore, including sand bars that become exposed. Bring your own beach toys, chairs, and beach towels, we provide the rest. If you bring a floater or kayak, you can venture onto the outer sand bars at low tide away from it all. The large wooden decks provide opportunities to spread out and relax. We provide a few deck chairs and lounges but you should bring any beach chairs you need. The home has a large grassy lot with many trees for shade. The cottages in this area are spaced far apart from each other. There is ample parking, and a 40A outlet (NEMA 14-50) with a portable EV charger (J1772) if you need one. Guest access Guests have the entire home and yard to themselves. Other things to note This is our personal home. We use it for our own vacations so you should have everything you need for an enjoyable stay but please ask us any questions. Since this is a beach area and we try to keep the home free of sand, we ask that guests remove their shoes in the Sunroom before entering the main home. We have a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off sand before returning after a day of fun.
