Description
Self-contained former lighthouse keeper's cottage on Bidston Hill, Wirral. Ideal for a couple, but there is a double sofa bed in the living room. Accommodation is self-catering, but a welcome hamper with milk, tea, coffee and breakfast ingredients for the first morning will be provided. Great base for a short break visiting Wirral or nearby Liverpool. Well-behaved dogs are welcome - this is great dog-walking country. Parking available on-site. The space The lighthouse - the most inland in the world - is surrounded by 100 acres of heath and woodlands. Access to the lighthouse tower can be arranged on request. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer guided tours of the lighthouse at the moment, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the cottage where they are staying. The lighthouse grounds are shared with the owners. Other things to note We advise all guests to bring a torch, especially if they intend to walk in the area after dark.
