Charming remodeled 1 bedroom/1 bath on second floor (no elevator) of a colonial house (over 200 years!) on Sol street. a quiet residential street of OSJ. We live downstairs. High ceilings. Lots of light. Kitchen equipped, gas stove and large refrigerator. Hi-speed internet (optic fiber). Two private balconies overlooking Sol st. With 17 solar panels and two Tesla batteries no worries about power outages! Water cistern on roof. Walking distance to everywhere in OSJ. You will love it! The space Remodeled cozy 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment on a quiet street in Old San Juan. Perfect for a sole traveler or two or three guests. It is on the second floor of our home, a two floor 1800's colonial house. It has two balconies overlooking the street. High ceilings. A/C. The colonial balconies, high ceilings and the location make our apartment unique, optic fibre wi-fi, kitchen, coffee-maker, microwave, toaster oven. We live downstairs. Readily available if you have any questions. We travel a lot, too so sometimes we won’t be home. But you can always reach us by phone, text or email. Old San Juan is the best place to be in Puerto Rico. Beautiful views, lively, safe and it is a real neighborhood. Transportation is readily available: public bus, Uber or taxi. Minimum stay: 2 nights Guest access Look for the blue doors! Our entrance is located on Sol St. next to some lovely tropical plants that enhance our colonial facade. You'll see a keypad on your left side, and the logo of Caribe Rentals carved on a small wood panel. Make sure to enter the code and push the right door. Once in, go up the stairs: Blue Balcones is the apartment to the right. (All codes will be sent to you before your arrival date). If you are renting a car there is street parking and parking garages available. Some streets are reserved for local residents after 6 PM and on week-ends - look out for the signs! Other things to note Optic fiber internet: great for remote working. The electricity in the house is provided mainly by our solar panels and stored in two battery backups to be used during the night time. The a/c are connected to LUMA (the grid) , the company that provides electrical service in PR. In the event of a power outage (not under our control), the a/c will not work but the fans and all outlets will. This event will not result in cancellation of the reservation or any kind of refund. During a power outage, the two battery backups will provide power to the apartment.
