Take a step back in time as you enter this authentic 1930's Soda Fountain located in downtown Greenup Village of the Porches situated on the Historic National Road. The Loomis Family immigrated from Greece and operated the Soda Fountain and Confectionary until the 1960's. It has since been transformed into a spacious and comfortable living area with the original Soda Fountain still intact, beautiful tin ceiling, and also includes a large kitchen, a separate shower room & powder room. The space After the building was closed for over 40 years an extensive renovation and remodeling was done incorporating most of the original features of the historic building. Other things to note Although we love pets and realize that many people feel like pets are family too, we do have a very strict "NO PETS" policy. We apologize for this inconvenience, as we have family members who have pet allergies, and have had other guests who have also expressed having pet allergies as well. Therefore, we will not make any exceptions to this "NO PETS" policy. Also, SMOKING, VAPING, & DRUG PARAPHENALIA is NOT ALLOWED inside the Candy Kitchen! Should you wish to smoke or vape, you may do so outdoors or outside on our back porch area.
