Edge of the Redwoods, cozy cabin retreat

Come enjoy the redwoods at this cozy, cabin retreat on a flower farm in La Honda! We are located 30 minutes from 280. 5 minutes from the famous Alice’s Restaurant - great food, great music, great company. 6 minutes from the neighborhood bar, Apple Jack’s - bbq and live music! 15 minutes from world class surfing, beaches, and hiking. Come relax and unwind at The Edge of the Redwoods! The space This cozy, cabin retreat is located at A Farm On a Hill in La Honda, CA. We are a working flower farm in the redwoods! As you take the turn off highway 84, you enter another world. As you enter, you’ll drive down through our vineyards, past the flower garden, and you’ll reach your retreat, at The Edge of the Redwoods. This was once used for wine tasting and barrel storage that we have transformed into this beautiful airbnb. The yellow front doors open up to a one-of-a-kind bar that is just waiting for you to relax and have a craft beer or glass of wine at while you listen to a favorite record. There are folding doors that separate the bar from the rest of the unit so you can have some privacy while your children or other guests are resting! Inside the main room, to your right, there is a fully equipped kitchen for you to brew a cup of tea or make a home cooked meal. Straight ahead is a daybed with a twin mattress you can relax on while you enjoy the wood burning stove and read a great book. To the left, are two queen beds, rest well in your plush linens. There is a bathroom and shower room on the far end of the unit. There is a locked utility closet that is not accessible. To your left, there is a dining table and chairs. Brew a cup of hot coffee and open the French doors up to a patio area with bistro lights. You’ll be in the company of old growth redwoods and chirping birds - Relax and enjoy! Guest access This is a working farm. As of now, we have to limit access to the immediate vicinity of the airbnb unit. We hope to open it up so our guests can access more of the farm and have direct access to the creek that runs through the land. Thank you for your understanding! Other things to note We do not offer WiFi at this time. Our guests use their hotspot on their phones or you can bring your own personal hotspot. Verizon and AT&T work here, but other providers may not. Our airbnb is located in La Honda in the redwoods, so the phone service can sometimes be in and out depending on the weather.
